Different Ways To Monitor Teenage Driver

There are 3 different ways through which you can keep track of your teen’s driving speed:

1) By Accompanying Them

The most basic way to monitor your teenage driving is by being with them personally. All you have to do is accompany them wherever they go and keep an eye on their speedometer. Every time they try to go faster you can make them slow down. Also, you can keep an eye on their driving style and this method is free as well. But, and this is a very big BUT, you and I both know that you can not accompany your children everywhere and you have a lot of other things to do.

2) Using An External GPS Device

You can buy an external GPS device and can fit it in your child’s car or motorcycle. After that, you can keep an eye on their location as well as their driving speed. But, if you own multiple cars or bikes then you will have to either buy multiple GPS devices or will have to change the GPS device from one car to another, every time your child decides to take a different vehicle.

3) Using A Spy App

In today’s world, every teenager owns a smartphone and they like to take it everywhere they go, right? So why not make use of that little thing to monitor their driving as well? Yes, you can use your child’s cell phone to keep track of their driving speed. All you have to do is install a spy app on their cell phone and you are good to go. After that, you will be able to monitor much more than their driving like you would be able to spy on Kik, Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other instant messaging apps they use.

Best App To Monitor Child’s Driving

We have established that using a spy app is the best way to keep track of your teen’s driving speed. But, the next question that arises is which is the best app to do that?

One of the best apps to monitor a child’s driving, which I personally use and love, is the FamiSafe. It is very easy to use and shows you a step-by-step process to install it on your child’s device. Firstly, you will have to log in to your FamiSafe account and then follow the process it shows you. If you face any difficulty or want to know what else you can monitor with it then you can read my FamiSafe detailed review.

Before you ask, no, your child will not be able to uninstall the app on their own. They will need a password to uninstall the app which you will have.

After installing the FamiSafe app on your teenager’s phone you can then control their phone remotely and change settings as you like. The good thing about FamiSafe is it provides you with a parent mobile app to monitor your child’s cell phone. So you can either log in to your parent mobile app or you can log in to your FamiSafe account using a browser on your phone/laptop/desktop. The site and mobile interface are similar and you will have to follow the same steps on both to check your child’s driving details.

Can You Track Your Child’s Driving Without Installing An App?

Yes, you can monitor your teen’s driving without installing a spy app. As discussed earlier in this article, you can either accompany them or install a GPS device.
