How To Get Text Messages From Another Phone Without Them Knowing?
The best way to read all the text messages from another phone is through a spy app. And one of the best SMS spy apps that I love to use is uMobix. All you have to do is install uMobix on the target phone and you are good to go. To know more about uMobix installation process and its features, you can read our detailed review of uMobix.
You can then login to your uMobix account on your laptop’s or phone’s web browser and there you can access all the messages from the target phone remotely. The uMobix app hides very well on the target phone and the target phone user will not be able to know that you are able to read all their text messages.
Other than text messages, uMobix shows you a lot of data as well.
How To Get Text Messages From Another Phone Sent To Mine?
To see all the text messages done through another phone’s inbuilt messaging app you first have to log in to your uMobix account. Once you are logged in, search for the General menu option on the left side menu strip. Under the General option go to the Messages option.
Once you click on the Messages you will be able to see all the text messages sent and received on the target phone. The 6 column table will show you all the data you need to know about the text messages done on another phone.
The first column consists of the id, which you can ignore if you want to. The second column of the table consists of the name and number from which the text is received or sent to. If you see a name and the phone number under it then it means the number is saved on the target phone. And if you see only a number and no name then it means the number is not saved on the target phone.
The third column will show you a Click To Block button to block any given contact or number. If you block a certain contact then it will show a Click To Unblock button to unblock the contact.
So you can block and unblock a contact remotely and the target phone user will not even know it. However, this feature did not work for me while I was testing the uMobix on my OnePlus Nord 2 cell phone. And even after blocking a contact, I was able to send and receive text messages. That said, depending on the make and operating system of the target cell phone, it might work for you.
The third column consists of an Open Chat button, by clicking on this button you can open a particular chat. Once you click on this button, a new window will open up and will show you all the messages that are exchanged in that conversation.
The new window will again have a table with 4 columns. The first column of the table consists of an id that you can ignore. The second column consists of all the actual messages that were exchanged in the chat. The third column consists of the date and time the messages were sent or received. And the fourth column shows you whether the message was sent or received. If the message was sent then it will show you Outgoing and if the message was received then it will show Incoming.
One good thing that I like about the uMobix app is that it even shows you deleted text messages from another phone. And you can easily spot deleted messages as it shows you a red flag saying Deleted Messages Were Found under the open chat button of the conversation.
And once you open the chat then it will show a red flag under the message saying Deleted, it even shows you the deleted date and time. So you can know which messages were deleted and when they were deleted.
Once you are back to the previous window then the fifth column of the table shows you the latest message from the conversation and the last column of the table shows you the date and time of the last message that was sent in the conversation.
How To Read Text Messages Done On Instant Social Messaging Apps From Another Phone?
Not everybody uses the inbuilt messaging app of the phone these days to chat, so how can you read the messages done on different social messaging apps? Do not worry, having uMobix on your side solves this problem. uMobix not only keeps an eye on the inbuilt messaging app but also keeps an eye on Facebook Messenger and all other instant messaging apps like Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Skype, Telegram, etc.
It does not show you the sent and received messages as it shows you in the case of the inbuilt messaging app. Instead, it shows you the screenshots of the chats on the different social messaging apps. Whenever any instant messaging app is opened, uMobix starts taking screenshots of the app. Then these screenshots are uploaded directly to your uMobix account where you can see them remotely.
After logging in to your uMobix account, search for the Social menu option on the left strip and then click on the name of the social messaging app you want to see the messages of. Once you click on the app name, you will see a table with three columns. The first column of the table will consist of the id, the second column will consist of the actual screenshots and the third column will consist of the date and time of taking the screenshot.
One good feature of the uMobix is that it even shows you if the target phone user is still online on the instant messaging app or not. If the target phone is still using the app then it will show a green Online label in front of the app name in the menu. And it will also show a green label on top of the table saying “App Name” Is Online Now. Therefore you can know if the conversation is still going and if more screenshots are on the way or not.
Can You Track Deleted Text Messages Of Instant Messaging Apps From Another Phone?
Since tracking of different instant messaging apps requires different algorithms and adding more algorithms can hamper the overall performance of the spy app as well as the target phone. Therefore uMobix takes screenshots of all the messaging apps rather than tracking the individual message. This is good in a way but while I was testing it, it was not able to take screenshots of messages that I deleted instantly after reading. So how can you track deleted messages?
This problem is solved by the Keylogger. uMobix’s remote keylogger for Android basically tracks all the keystrokes of the cell phone irrespective of the apps. So even if uMobix is not able to take screenshots of some messages, you can check the exact messages that were typed in its keylogger.
However, the keylogger will only show you the sent messages and it will not show you the received messages. But you can very well make an intelligent guess as to what could have been the received message by looking at the replies and the overall conversation.
